Thirty-five years later, I returned to Tunisia with my wife. I was consulting with Project Hope on a new Public Health Program in the rural areas. We lived in a rented house in Monastir for a couple of months and were able to enjoy this lovely historic town under better circumstances, and to visit some of the places I had been during the war.
