This image (Digital ID: SB_0166a) is found on page 19 of William B. Kinter's scrapbook.  The image is hidden behind Digital ID: SB_0166 and is not visible from the main page. William B. Kinter's margin notes: "Boys at Suthoung Pye [sic] hpoongyi kyanug at Kaung tain [Taing] Village getting a jeep ride – little girls on hood are daughters of Chief Clerk at Namtu Mines, son at far left – head hpoongyi put them up in hpoongyi [hypongyi] kyaung when they fled the Japs at Namtu – Quite a concession as no women are supposed to be in a hpoongyi [hypongyi] kyaung – I drove the whole family out to Kalaw & got them started back to Namtu."
