This was during the ceremony when A. Piatt Andrew received the Legion of Honor from General Ragueneau. It took place in the courtyard of the château in Muizon (near Reims) during the battle of Champagne. This image can be found between pages 158 and 1959 in The Historyof the American Field Service in France: Volume I(Houghton Mifflin Co, 1920). There are several copies of this photograph, and one was digitized.
