Dr. Cipolla Visiting Patients in their Homes | Archives of the American Field Service and AFS Intercultural Programs
Title:
Dr. Cipolla Visiting Patients in their Homes
Date:
1944 April
Description:
I made home visits with Dr. Cipolla, and was greatly impressed that he had stayed with his patients through the continual danger, the bombing, and the German demolition (Scorched earth policy). I did what little I could to help. He, and the Civilian Guerilla fighters, the "Patrioti" were the unsung heroes of this part of the war.
